• What is the difference between Y7T-A and Y7T-C?
• Both models have a post-filter in the glass pitcher. Y7T-A uses an alkaline filter that adds essential minerals to restore natural alkalinity. Y7T-C uses an activated carbon filter that enhances taste with high absorption capacity.
• What is wastewater, and may I add more water without emptying the tank first?
• All Y7P & Y7T Series feature a 4:1 pure-to-drain ratio: every 4 cups of purified water produce 1 cup of concentrate wastewater. Do not re-filter the wastewater — it shortens filter life. When changing water, empty the feed tank first, then refill.
