• The standard length is 36", but you may need a custom fit. To determine the length needed, you can measure your old cane, consult your therapist, or measure the distance from your wrist bone to the floor while your hand is hanging loose and relaxed.
• What can I do if I need a cane shorter than 36"?
• Standard Asterom canes are sold as the most commonly used length of 36". If you need a shorter cane, you can cut it yourself using a wood saw or order a custom-length cane (handling time is about 4-5 weeks). Read below how to order a custom cane.
